The attraction of Sledging is that YOU are in control. You are equipped with a 5mm padded wetsuit, booties, life jacket, helmet and fins for kicking and steering.

The Sledges are river purpose designed and may be plastic or foam. Your chest rests on the Sledge and your arms are tucked neatly inside for a good grip and control.

They are very buoyant, comfortable, safe and highly manueuvarable. It's fun ! You are right in the element as the river is at eye level. It's exciting!

You anticipate and position yourself unlike rafting where the guide does all the steering. It's different!
